Osterwalder template

1)a) Why is the template a cycle instead of a chain where it repeats itself?
   b) Does the failure of one element eventually means failure for the entire business?
   c) Why aren't these are not divided into departments?
2) The Osterwalder template could be very useful for businesses in case of any failure because the business could search for error using the template and fix it.
 It could be also used to describe and classify businesses. The template could also be used by managers inside companies for future developments.
3)The template cannot be used for non-businesses organizations because such organizations do not have a profit aim. They don't have a cost structure because they mostly don't sell solid products. They don't have a specific customer segment, so if we try to apply the template for it would not fit or it would be incomplete.
